MEGHAN BRICKER

Member  |  Director

Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap & Star Co. Instructor

Meghan is the proud new owner of One Broadway Dance Academy (OBDA). she is honored to have the opportunity to grow OBDA while sharing her love of dance and performing arts with families in the Hershey, PA area.

Meghan began dancing at the age of 3 and transferred to OBDA as an 8-year-old. OBDA was instrumental in cultivating her passion while providing a highly technical dance education. Meghan has a B.A. in Musical Theatre and Dance from JMU and spent 4 years performing across the country before she settled in Hershey, PA with her husband. Meghan’s performance contracts ranged from theme park, to touring companies and regional theatres; most notably Ogunquit Playhouse, Prather Entertainment Group, Arts Center of Coastal Carolina, Galveston Island Musicals, Granbury Opera House and Cohoes Music Hall. Meghan’s professional performance career enabled her to travel the country and hone her craft while doing what she loved. Meghan remains connected to fellow performers who are still active in the dance and performance industry and her experience makes her a great resource for the dancer who strives to continue dancing after high school and perhaps professionally.

Meghan has been teaching for OBDA since 2009 and adores being in the classroom. Meghan believes in the value of a solid technical foundation for a dancer’s growth and physical health but is invested in educating the whole child. She encourages her students to work hard and grow at their own pace; each student has a unique journey. Meghan has choreographed award-winning pieces for the OBDA Star Company and loves teaching all ages and levels of dance. Her students inspire her, bring her JOY and leave a lasting impression that she can only hope to reciprocate.

Lifelong Hershey residents, Meghan and her husband, Aaron, have deep Hershey roots. They love raising their three children (Hadley, Dawson and Emerson) here and are excited to be a part of their community in a larger way as dance studio owners.
